Volume of records, 1823-1855, of the Edgar Allan Poe Society, Inc., of New York City. Volume contains an endorsed copy of the society's certificate of incorporation, society bylaws, minutes of meetings, and several loose and mounted postal cards, announcements of meetings and events, programs, newsclippings, etc., relating to the Society and its various meetings, recitals, lectures, addresses, and other activities. Presidents of the society were Alberta Gallatin Childe and Thomas Ollive Mabbott.
